Robin Bandy is an attorney at Wishard Health Services and Director of the Wishard Volunteer Advocates Program.  The Wishard Volunteer Advocates Program trains and supervises volunteers to serve as court-appointed guardians for unbefriended, incapacitated patients.  Ms. Bandy graduated cum laude from Indiana University School of Law-Indianapolis and also holds a Master’s degree in Bioethics from Indiana University.  She completed a clinical ethics fellowship at the Charles Warren Fairbanks Center for Medical Ethics and serves on the Ethics Committee and as an ethics consultant at Wishard Hospital.  Ms. Bandy is also an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at Indiana University-Indianapolis. Her research interests are in surrogate decision-making and guardianship.  She is a certified guardian through the National Guardianship Association and is President of the Indiana State Guardianship Association. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, and American Society for Bioethics and Humanities.  Ms. Bandy has over 20 years of experience in the health care field and prior to her position at Wishard Health Services, was employed by Eli Lilly and Company.
