Robyn M. Axel-Adams, MS, M.Div, BCC

Robyn Axel-Adams is the manager for the Center for Medical Ethics.  Before taking this position, she worked at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital as a Staff Chaplain for seven years and with the Palliative Care team for almost a year.  She is an ordained United Methodist clergy person.  She did her chaplaincy training at Clarian Health, and her master’s degree is from Emory University.  She completed the Fairbanks Fellowship in Clinical Ethics in 2011-2012, where she focused on developing a curriculum for teaching internal medical residents about medicine and spirituality. She is married and has 2 children.
