William serves as Regional Ethicist for IU Health’s East Region with a focus on growing the ethics consultation service, education, and collaboration with stakeholders across disciplines and in the community. He previously served as the chair of the East Central Region Ethics Committee and is a 2015 graduate of the Fairbanks Fellowship in Clinical Ethics. A certified healthcare ethics consultant for 5 years, William is also a board-certified chaplain and comes to the ethics department after serving nearly 10 years as palliative care chaplain at IU Health Ball Memorial.
